Pixel Escape Studios - Sweet Hearts Support

An E-Card is en electronic greeting card that you send to somebody over email (or diskette). Sweet Hearts goes beyond the traditional E-Card and features beautiful 3D graphics, music, different layout and configurations with which you can deliver your message.

Requirements

Sweet Hearts E-Card requires DirectX 7, Windows 98/ME/2000.

A 3D video card is highly recommended.

Configuration

Upon running the program, you are presented with the following window:

Select Layout

Every E-Card you make with Sweet Heart can have one of five different layouts. The first layout features 3D hearts (see Enable Large Heart and Number of Spinning Hearts bellow). If you want to include a picture (see Your Picture bellow) in your card you should select one of the four other layouts that display the position of the picture, text and heart in them.

Your Message

Here you can type your message to the person you are sending your Sweet Hearts greeting card to. Make sure to use the preview feature to see how the text is displayed. If you want to change the location of the text see the Select Layout option above.

Your Picture

Here you can select a picture (bmp) to display with the greeting card. The picture will be displayed according to the layout you selected above.

Your Music

Here you can select the song you want to be playing when the person receives the card. The following formats are supported (mp3, wav, mid).

Enable Large Heart

In every layout there is one big 3D heart displayed. If you don't want that heart displayed, uncheck this box.

Number of Spinning Hearts

This slider toggles the number of spinning 3D hearts that fly out of the picture.

Check how your greeting card will look by pressing this button.

Create E-Card/Screensaver

Once you are happy with the greeting card, press this button. The program will create a file called OUTPUT.SCR.

Finishing Up

Now you can send this file to that special someone via email (or other methods) and, when they run it, it will reproduce the greeting card on their computer complete with the text, picture and music you selected!

It can also be used as a screensaver so that they can keep thinking of you every time their screensaver comes on!
